In NSW, any electrical work between the street network and your electricity meter is legally reserved for a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider. That covers the jobs standard electricians have to walk away from: consumer mains, service lines, metering, private poles and anything carrying an Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy defect notice.
